Privacy

This page is in preparation. It states what is already true; the sections marked “in preparation” are completed before membership opens.

This page explains what information the Photon Datum website collects when you visit, and what it does not. It covers this website only. Member services behind Login are covered separately.

What this website does not do

• It sets no cookies.
• It runs no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts.
• It loads nothing from third parties while you browse: fonts, styles, scripts and images, including Industry News images, are served from our own server.

What is stored on your device

If you choose Light, Dark or Auto using the switch in the header, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name pd-mode, so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data settings.

Server logs

In preparation: what the web server records about a page request, and for how long. This section is completed once the server’s logging has been confirmed.

Links to other sites

Industry News items and some other links take you to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which apply once you follow a link.

When you email us

If you write to us, we receive what you send: your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it to reply and to discuss the work you asked about.

In preparation: how long we keep correspondence, and how to ask for it to be deleted.

Contact
